In a move that has shocked many, Tanzanian gospel artist Goodluck Gozbert, has publicly set ablaze an expensive car gifted to him by Prophet Geor Davie. Davie, based in Arusha, known for his flamboyant acts of generosity, gifted Goodluck the car 2021. The Arusha preacher said he has always been impressed by the musician’s humility and resilience.
The move has stirred attention from his Christian fans and his family. The Tanzanian singer is citing spiritual concerns as to why he had to take such a bold action. Despite the heated debates, Gozbert remains firm and believes it was the necessary thing to do according to his spiritual convictions.

I have much to say, but for now, I want it to be known that the food I ate that day during the service and the car I received did not please the God I serve because that altar was not the right place for me to participate.” captioned Gozbert.

Tanzanian actress Wema Sepetu has recently opened up about something she has battled for years. In an interview while in Zanzibar, she says she has come to terms with not being able to have her own biological child.
Wema, who desires to be a mother, admits that her interest to sire has faded over time, especially after hitting 35. She says her ex-boyfriend, actor Steven Kanumba, cursed her, saying she would never have children. The soft voiced actress admits she terminated 2 of Kanumba’s pregnancies back in the day.
The former beauty queen has been in high profile relationships with men like Diamond, actors Idris Sultan and Stephen Kanumba. Wema Sepetu is currently dating Whozu, a bongoflava artist. She owns a pet dog Manunu, whom she treats like her own child. She has ruled out adoption, saying she’s not comfortable raising someones genes.
Health Activist Grace Mulei Arrested in Bizzare Circumstances
Grace Mulei, a vocal critic of the Health CS and the Kenyan healthcare system, was arrested in a controversial manner on Thursday January 23rd, 2025.
She was forcibly removed from Ladnan Hospital in Eastleigh and taken to Capitol Hill Police Station, by a contingent of more than 10 police officers. She was charged with creating a disturbance in a government office. The health advocate was released, on Friday January 24th, on a cash bail of Ksh 10,000.

Nakuru High Court has directed the Nakuru DCI and the officer-in-charge of Lake Nakuru National Park to produce Odhiambo or his body in court on Tuesday, January 28, 2025.
Judge Nangea has also ordered the DCI Nakuru to appear in court on Tuesday following residents of Nakuru whonhave camped on the streets since the day Odhiambo went missing. They have also filed a petition by the Independent Medico-Legal Unit (IMLU) led by Nakuru activist, David Kuria.

After TikTok’s blackout on American users on Saturday following upto Trump’s inauguration, users have reported new guidelines upon its return.
The app which was seen as a free speech haven, is now marred with controversies with users reporting limited live streams, searches, activities. Flagging off of comments, citing community guidelines, is something new on the short-video app.
Trump is still seeking a permanent solution for the crisis and has given a 90-day reprieve until a solution is arrived at. Billionaires Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg are among those fronted to buy the app in a government-led 50% takeover from its owners ByteDance.
