The Chelsea FC midfielder and world cup winner with Argentina seems to be having a rough patch in his life as he is found guilt in another case days after he posted a rather racist video on his Instagram. The Instagram live showed Enzo and his Argentinian counter parts celebrating their Copa America win in the team bus while chanting words mocking the French National Team. Enzo went ahead to apologize for the Instagram video after receiving a lot of backlash from fans and players such as Chelsea Fc’s Fofana.
However, before people could bury the hatchet, he seems to have jumped from one frying pan to another as he was found guilty of a traffic offense in England. According to the BBC, Fernandez was accused of driving a Porsche Cayenne through a red light on Church Street, Llanelli, on November 28, 2023. He was also accused of driving the same vehicle without insurance on the same day. However, no plea was entered for those charges, and they were therefore withdrawn.
After almost one year, the courts have found him guilty of not giving information to Dyfed-Powys Police station on December 27 last year. Possible repercussions for the verdict include sanctions by the premier league as well as the possibility of losing his driving license. It is yet to be seen what will happen to him as he also awaits the verdict for his racial Instagram Live which could see him be banned by the Premier League for a considerable time.
