Some minutes after shocking the world with his news of stepping down from the much anticipated November elections; President Biden did not take much time before pulling another move on his chess board by answering the question of the year; who will he endorse? The President endorsed his deputy Kamara Harris as his chosen candidate for the POTUS.
In yet another post on his X account President Joe Biden wrote,”My fellow Democrats, I have decided not to accept the nomination and to focus all my energies on my duties as President for the remainder of my term. My very first decision as the party nominee in 2020 was to pick Kamala Harris as my Vice President. And it’s been the best decision I’ve made. Today I want to offer my full support and endorsement for Kamala to be the nominee of our party this year. Democrats — it’s time to come together and beat Trump. Let’s do this.’
This endorsement has been welcomed variedly by different people with some showing support while others are saying that Trump will have an easy day come November 5. The ball is now on Kamara Harris’ court and we are yet to see if she will bag the Democrats ticket and face off Donald Trump at the end of the year.
