The Kenya Railway Corporation is seeking to recruit qualified and interested candidates in the engineering fields as well as in communication, marketing and finance.
People living with disabilities are also encouraged to fill in application forms and submit them before the January 28th deadline.

Application forms are found on the Kenya Railways Corporation website. Candidates are required to attach their testimonials, certified copies of certificates, national ID and resume (CV).
Kabogo Declares His Networth in Billions
ICT and Digital Economy CS nominee, William Kabogo, also former Kiambu Governor, detailed his wealth, before the cabinet nominee vetting on January 14th, 2025. Kabogo revealed his total net worth as Ksh 3.01B.
Accounting for it, he listed his properties and assets plus all his shares, all totalling to the billion shilling networth.
Asked to provide a breakdown, Kabogo explored his diversified portfolio. He estimated his residential properties at Ksh 700M while his movable assets amount to Ksh 40M. Kabogo’s land and farms have a combined networth of Ksh 756M and his cash and current assets amount to Ksh 64M.
The former Kiambu Governor also declared his interests and shares at Ksh 1.5B. These investments have earned him a position as a billionaire in Kenya.
“In total, I am worth Ksh 3.01B,” Kabogo said solidly.
Khalif Kairo Spends a Fourth Night Behind Bars
Dust seems to be following famous Nairobi motor vehicle dealer Joseph Kairo, commonly known as Khalif Kairo, everywhere. After his fraud case that saw him before a judge last week, he’s spending a fourth night in custody today. He is yet to raise the KSh 2M cash bail set for his two separate fraud cases.
The dealer was released on bail on Tuesday afternoon, where he pleaded not guilty, for failing to deliver on his car sale agreements.
Despite the prosecution posing him as a flight risk, Judge Lucas Onyina of Milimani, ruled out their argument. He offered Kairo Ksh 1M cash bail for each of the two charges. He also asked him to surrender his passport to the senior court administrator, to fast-track the trial. He is het to meet the conditions and will spend another night behind bars.
KEMSA: “We Have Enough ARVs”
After news went viral on Tuesday, that Kenya is facing a severe shortage of essential medical supplies, especially ARVs and vaccines, KEMSA has come out, a day later, boldly to deny the reports.
Speaking at a press briefing together with Health CS Deborah Barasa and DG for Health Dr Patrick Amoth, KEMSA CEO Waqo Erjesa said they are out of danger zone.
“We are stable, we are okay. Courtesy of the government of Kenya and the Global Fund (and) government of the United States through different formations. All these combined, we have enough ARVs,” Erjesa said on yesterday.
Kilifi IEBC Murder Suspects Arrested
Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) Kisauni have brought to book 3 suspects connected to Aisha Abubakar’s brutal murder. The Kilifi County IEBC official and his son were victims of a robbery with violence incident at their home on January 5, 2025.
The three Isa Omari, Brian Shikuku Mudari, and Bryan Templer Oyare, were caught separately after being trailed the whole week since the murder.
The suspects made away with unknown valuables, 2 Samsung phones, an iPad, a 65″ television, a sound system, and ATM cards. The stolen phones were recovered along with some other valuables.
Investigations are ongoing to nab everyone that was involved in the heinous crime. The government is keen to bring the perpetrators to book and deliver justice to Aisha’s family, who are still mourning.
