CS Muturi Lashes at Government for Son’s  Abduction

Public Service CS Justin Muturi has in a rather awkward manner, lashed at the same government he serves in. The CS was lamenting at the recent wave of abductions targeting Kenyan youth, where his son fell victim.

He held a press briefing on Sunday at Serena Hotel, Nairobi, demanding closure, from William Ruto’s government, following his son’s abduction during the early June wave of anti-government protests.

Despite his attempts, at the time, to reach out to senior security figures, he was met with cold responses and dead ends from the responsible individuals.

“One of the things we had accused the past regime was the issue of abductions and forced disappearances. Today, there have been abductions and forced deaths mainly targeting the youth,” Muturi quipped.

He has criticised the government for its casualness about the mysterious  abductions. Muturi’s concerns highlights a growing divide within the Cabinet over the issue.

Pope Francis, has been lenient towards the LGBTQ community, and has allows priests to wed same-sex marriages.

The Italian bishops are said to have approved the document in November. The text from Vatican’s clergy office, confirms the guidelines as effective for a trial period of 3 years.
